STORM SLAMMED
BY ASA
Ad misleading says watchdog

The Advertising Standards Authority has agreed with aggrieved Manchester Storm fans about a recent advertisement placed by the club in local newspapers.

The advert was forwarded to the ASA by fans who bought season tickets in Block 123 at the Manchester Evening News Arena. One told Thunderflash "The ad quite clearly promised fast n furious action, lightning attacks and counter attacks. Also goalmouth action galore!!!!"

"We read the advert but we don't think the team did"

Thunderflash can only agree!!!!!

(NB we made the bit about the ASA up ... but maybe we SHOULD send the advert to them? ALSO whats this bit about the "largest" hockey team???)
